Lemon, Ginger, and Pear – Oh hi!

January 10, 2017 By: ranaefrancescomment

Cheers to the New Year!! It’s still January, so I can still say that, right? New Year’s toasting may be over, but my Lemon Ginger Pear Splash can be enjoyed on any occasion…like a Tuesday evening.

Lemon Ginger Pear Splash

I partnered with Stirrings as part of their Stir it Up Holiday Blogger Recipe Challenge to bring you this incredible cocktail. One of the biggest challenges I faced was deciding on which Stirrings Cocktail Mixer and Rimmer Cocktail Garnish to use! I finally settled on Stirrings Simple Lemondrop Martini, and Cosmopolitan Rimmer.

I love the combination of lemon and ginger, and of pear and ginger, so I decided to combine all three flavors in this cocktail, and it doesn’t disappoint! The ginger ale not only adds flavor, but the bubbles make this drink feel a little extra special. I chose to use Cosmopolitan Rimmer over Stirrings Lemon Drop Rimmer, to get a little extra brightness from the hints of cranberry and lime.

The Lemon Drop Martini mixer is a perfect balance of sweet and tart. It would make a delicious mocktail with some ginger ale or seltzer for those who don’t wish to consume alcohol.

Considering their more than reasonable price of just 6.99 and 4.99 respectively, I was very impressed by the quality of these products. Stirrings provided me with my products as part of the contest (my opinions are my own). Stirrings products can be found at liquor stores, grocery stores, and even some Walgreens locations. Check out their store locator to find them in your area. (In Las Vegas you can find them at Lee’s Discount Liqour, Total Wine, and Glazier’s Marketplace to name a few.)
